Tinubu Calls For An End To Violent Protests, Says The Economy Is Recovering

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu addressed the nation today, appealing for calm and an end to violent protests that have resulted in loss of lives and destruction of properties across the country.

The President expressed his commitment to public order and the protection of lives and property, while also acknowledging the concerns of protesters, particularly young Nigerians seeking a better future.

He highlighted the progress made by his administration in rebuilding the economy, including increased government revenues, reduced debt servicing, and investments in infrastructure and social services.

President Tinubu also announced various initiatives aimed at empowering youth, stimulating economic growth, and improving living standards, including student loan schemes, skill development programs, and housing projects.

He urged Nigerians to work together to build a brighter future, choosing hope over fear, unity over division, and progress over stagnation.

The President’s address comes amidst ongoing protests and calls for dialogue to address the nation’s challenges. Security operatives have been urged to maintain peace and order while respecting human rights conventions.
