Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity and Official Spokesperson of the President, has announced his indefinite leave of absence due to a pressing family health matter.
In a memo submitted to the Chief of Staff to the President on Friday, Ngelale revealed that he will be taking a break from his duties to focus on a “vexatious medical situation” affecting his immediate family.
Ngelale, who also serves as Special Presidential Envoy on Climate Action and Chairman of the Presidential Steering Committee on Project Evergreen, expressed his appreciation for the understanding and support of his family and colleagues during this challenging time.
While he looks forward to returning to his roles when circumstances permit, Ngelale has respectfully requested privacy for his family during this period.
The leave of absence takes effect immediately, with arrangements to be made for the continuity of his responsibilities in his absence.
