The University of Ilorin Alumni Association has released a list of candidates vying for various positions in the upcoming 2024 alumni election. The list, published on the verified social media page of the University, features candidates who have successfully submitted their nominations and are now subject to further verification and screening.
The electoral committee has called on the public to review the list and report any information that may render a candidate ineligible. Concerned individuals are urged to email their findings to alumnielectoral.unilorin@gmail.com within 24 hours of the list’s publication.
According to the elecoral committee, the list is not final, as it is still subject to verification from the University Registry. The final cleared list of candidates will be published on August 16, 2024.
The association encourages all stakeholders to participate in the verification process to ensure a transparent and credible election.
