A 34-year-old Kwaran and graduate of the University of Ilorin, Muyiwa Tola Atoyebi, was recently conferred with the title of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).

Atoyebi, who hails from Igosun community in Kwara State, emerged the youngest Nigerian to be admitted into the elite club of legal luminaries since conferment of the title began in 1975.

Reacting to the giant stride, the Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, yesterday, congratulated Atoyebi through a telephone conversation.

According to a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Rafiu Ajakaye, Governor Abdulrazaq described the young lawyer as a good example of what young people should aspire to.

“The governor congratulated the learned silk for making Kwara proud. He prayed that God will continue to guide him.

“The governor believes Atoyebi is a good example of what young people should aspire to. He urges the youth to emulate him and be the best at whatever they do,” the statement said.

Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) is a title conferred on Nigerian lawyers who have practiced for not less than 10 years, and have distinguished themselves in the legal profession.
