Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State has expressed delight over the two ministerial slots ceded to the state, following the announcement of Alhaji Lai Mohammed and Senator Gbemisola Saraki as the two ministerial nominees from the state.
The governor, through a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, described the feat as an affirmation of President Muhammadu Buhari’s strong affection for Kwara State.
He urged members of the National Assembly, especially senators from the state to ensure the smooth screening of the nominees in the overall interest of the country.
“The Governor congratulates the distinguished nominees for the honour done to them and our dear state. He considers it a great honour to have two ministerial slots ceded to Kwara State.
“It is an affirmation of the special place this state holds in the heart of President Muhammadu Buhari”, the statement read in part.
