Former Minister for Youth and Sports Development, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi has mourned the passing of Senator Rafiu Ibrahim, the senator who represented Kwara South at the 8th Senate.
Abdullahi, according to the report released by the media team in Ilorin, said the senator was excellent as a politician, dutiful as a parent and reliable as friend.
“I am deeply saddened and shocked to recieve the news of the passing of my brother, Senator Rafiu Ibrahim. As we both contested for seats in the 10th Senate, I say confidenty that he dedicated the best of himself to the service of his people.
“The magnitude of this loss cannot be described by words alone. May Almighty Allah forgive his transgressions.” Abdullahi said.
The Former Minister urges the families, friends and associates to draw inspiration from the life of the late senator and prayed to Almighty Allah to grant everyone the fortitude to bear this huge loss.
