The Speaker of Jigawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Isah Idris Gwaram, has been impeached.
The impeachment, which took place today (Thursday) during plenary, was said to be unanimous among members.
The former speaker has since been replaced by another ex- Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Idris Garba Kareka who was impeached in 2017.
