In preparation for a formal handover of instruments of power to the next elected Governor of the State, the Kwara State governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed has today (Wednesday) announced a dissolution of his cabinet with immediate effect.
In a short statement signed by the Deputy Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Demola Olanrewaju, all “special advisers, senior special assistants, special assistants and members of boards of parastatals are also affected by the dissolution”.
The statement also expresses the appreciation of Governor Ahmed to all council members, former aides and other political office holders for their services to the State and wishes them well in their future undertakings.
