The police council chaired by President Muhammadu Buhari today (Thursday) in Abuja confirmed Mr. Mohammed Adamu as the substantive Inspector General of Police (IGP).
Adamu, who hails from Nassarawa State, was first appointed in acting capacity on the 15th January, 2019. By his confirmation, the new police boss would now serve as the 20th indigenous Inspector General of police.
