President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the 2019 appropriation bill into law. The signing took place inside the council chambers in the state house.
With the signing of the bill, the new fiscal year 2019 would now commence.
The signing of the bill was witnessed by the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, Speaker of House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriation, Danjuma Goje, the Minister of Budget and National Planning, Udoma Udo Udoma, the minister of finance, Hajia Zainab Ahmed, the Senior Special Assistant on National Assembly Matters, Ita Enang, the information and culture minister, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari and the Secretary to the Government, Boss Mustapha.
