Engineer Musa Wada has emerged winner of the keenly contested Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Kogi governorship primary which held today at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja.
Engr Wada, who’s the younger brother of former Kogi governor, Capt Idris Wada, was declared winner after polling 748 votes, defeating his closest challenger and brother-in-law, Abubakar Ibrahim (Ibro), who polled 710 votes.
Former governor, Idris Wada, came third with 345 votes while Senator Dino Melaye polled 70 votes to clinch the fourth position.

The Adamawa State Governor, Ahmed Fintri, while announcing the result, commended the contestants for their maturity while enjoining them to work for the party’s candidate in the forthcoming guber election scheduled for November 16, 2019.
