Following Tuesday’s protest by members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) in Abuja, a new intelligence report has revealed the plans of the sect to undertake similar action in northern capital cities of Kaduna and Kano.
The protest, which reports say is planned for between Friday and Saturday, may be violent if the bloody confrontation of the Shi’tes with security operatives in Abuja earlier in the week is anything to go by.
Meanwhile, following the intelligence reports, security and surveillance around major areas in Kaduna have been intensified.
