Former minister appointed ‘honorary’ adviser’ in Zamfara

Mallam Bashir Yuguda, former minister of finance in the Goodluck Jonathan administration, has been appointed ‘honorary adviser’ by Gov. Matawalle of Zamfara state.

Yuguda, who is also a former Ambassador, was appointed alongside six others by the governor.

Yuguda’s appointment was contained in a statement issued in Gusau, the state capital, yesterday (Friday) by the Permanent Secretary, Cabinet and General Services in the office of the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Ibrahim Suleiman.
