Goal Aimers Initiative donates books, learning materials to 300 school children

Keying into the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a Kwara-based Non-Governmental Organisation, Goal Aimers Initiative has begun its quest to give the state’s education sector a facelift.

Driven by its mandate to provide learning materials for indigent school children who are hamstrung by finances, the group, on Wednesday launched its first project tagged, “Book Drive Initiative: Groom to Rule”.

According to the Coordinator, Goal Aimers Initiative, Saeed Tijjani, about 300 pupils of Gbemisola LGEA Primary School and Madi Junior Secondary School were presented with books and other learning materials.

Tijjani enjoined all relevant stakeholders in the education sector to key into the initiative which he noted was life-changing and crucial to improving the quality of education in the state.

He added that the group was not affiliated to any political party or movement, and remained committed to donating more school materials to pupils across the 16 Local Government Areas of Kwara state.
