Gov. Abdulrazaq gives committee two weeks to dig up dirt on past govt

Kwara State Governor Alh. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has inaugurated an 11-member fact-finding committee to examine the Sales of Government property by the immediate past administration of Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed.

The Committee chaired by Senator Makanjuola Suleman, was assigned the task of perusing the processes and procedure utilized in the sales; as well as identifying the affected property and beneficiaries in order to discover whether or not such sales conformed to public interest, among other duties.

According to the Deputy Chief Press Secretary to the state government, Agboola Olarewaju, the committee is to commence work immediately and submit its findings in two weeks.

Members of the committee include: Alhaji AbdulRahman Giwa, Tunji Balogun Alanamu, Alhaji AbdulRahman Oyinloye, Alhaji Umar Jimada, and Alhaji Ibrahim Salman (Director General, Bureau of Lands), Mr Odetokun, A.M. (Permanent Secretary, General Services), Alhaji AbdulRaheem Baki (Director of Building Services, Ministry of Housing and Urban Development), Shina Mudasir Akorede (Director of Admin and Finance, Government House) and Mr Kayode O. Ibiyemi (Estate Valuer).
