Busola Dakolo, the Ilorin-born wife of popular singer, Timi Dakolo has made shocking revelations about being raped twice as a teenager by flamboyant Abuja-based Pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, Biodun Fatoyinbo.
The mother of three made the revelation in a viral video while speaking to Chude Jideonwo, a renowned journalist.
Mrs Dakolo disclosed that she was 16 years old at the time and was being groomed by the pastor when he raped her twice.
Narrating one of the occasions, she said Pastor Fatoyinbo showed up at her house unannounced on a Monday morning when she was still in her nightgown.
Her mother and sisters who were absent at service the previous sunday had traveled. According to her, he didn’t say a word as he forced her onto a couch, urging her to do as he said.
Busola, puzzled at the sudden event didn’t struggle as Pastor Fatoyinbo pulled down her underwear and raped her.
She further disclosed that when he was done, he rushed to his car and returned with a bottle of Krest which he forced her to drink, possibly as a makeshift contraceptive.
Then, he told her, “You should be happy that a man of God did this to you”, she said.
According to her, at the time of the rape, the pastor’s wife had just given birth to their first child, Oluwashindara.
