The Super Eagles of Nigeria earned their eight bronze medal at the Africa Cup of Nations tonight after beating the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia by a lone goal.
Odion Ighalo fired the team ahead in the 3rd minute after a defensive blunder by the Tunisian defenders, taking his goal tally to 5 from seven matches.
Nigeria has won all third-place fixtures it has featured in since the establishment of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Senegal will take on Algeria in the final on Friday.
