Kaduna State governor, Mallam Nasir Ahmed Elrufai has reportedly warned politicians in the State jostling for appointments in his new cabinet expected to come on board on the 29th of May to not send any emissaries to him; or lose the chance of being considered.
One of the frontline campaigners for the governor’s second term and a member of the inauguration committee in the State told INSIDER that the governor has repeatedly warned that no one should put any pressure on him regarding appointments.
“Anyone who knows Gov. Elrufai would readily tell you that one of the easiest ways to lose favor with him is to engage someone to lobby on your behalf. He prefers to make his own choice in his own way”, said our source who prefers not to be named.
