The senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District in the Ninth Senate, Dino Melaye, yesterday, picked the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) nomination form to officially join the Kogi gubernatorial race.
Senator Melaye picked the form at the PDP National Secretariat in Abuja.
The PDP made the confirmation in a post shared on its Twitter page yesterday, which said, “Melaye picked nomination and expression of interest forms”.
Senator Melaye had earlier boasted of his ‘imminent victory’ at the forthcoming Kogi guber polls scheduled for November on his Instagram page.
He wrote: “I will be Governor of Kogi State by the special Grace of God.
“Knowing yourself is the very foundation of all wisdom.”
