Police arraigns Senator Abbo before magistrates’ court today

Senator Elisha Ishaku Abbo will be arraigned at the Magistrates’ Court in Zuba, Abuja, today, for assualt.

The FCT Police Command confirmed the arraignment through a statement by the Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory Police Command, Bala Ciroma, who said, “They (Police officers) have taken him to the Zuba Magistrates’ court for arraignment. They are on their way now.”

The Adamawa senator, who was captured on camera repeatedly assaulting a woman at a sex toy shop in Abuja, on May 11, 2019, was arrested and detained last Thursday but granted bail the next day.

It is however, unknown how many charges Senator Abbo would be arraigned for.
