The Progressive Forum (TPF), an influential group of emerging leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have commended the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for nominating two of its members into the inauguration committee.
In a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Mohammed Funsho Abdullahi, the group described the appointment of two of its pioneer members, Mr. Abuh Andrew Abuh (accommodation sub committee) and Hajiya Hadiza Mohammed Kabir (Transportation and Logistics sub committee) as a recognition of their long standing devotion to progressive politics and an endorsement of their impressive track record as dutiful, credible, and productive individuals.
Expressing confidence in the capacity of the two nominees to add value to the work of the committee and work with other members to deliver a successful inauguration; the group stated; “As a forum, we take the appointment of two of our own and other youthful members of the inauguration committee as the early fulfilment of the promise made by the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed to prioritize youth inclusion in his administration; and we hope that this would be a deliberate policy of the Tinubu government to give the youth a veritable platform to exhibit their leadership prowess.”
