President Muhammadu Buhari has announced the portfolios of his newly sworn-in ministers.
The President, who made the announcement during the inauguration of his new cabinet in Abuja today, retained his supervision of the petroleum ministry, while appointing a former governor of Bayelsa State, Timipre Sylva as Minister of State, Petroleum.
Abubakar Malami was returned as Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, while Babatunde Fashola relinquished the Ministry of Power but retained the Ministry of Works and Housing.
The duo of Alhaji Lai Mohammed and Rotimi Amaechi also retained their previous portfolios.
New comer, Gbemisola Saraki was assigned to the Ministry of Transportation where she would serve as Minister of State, Transport.
The President introduced six new federal ministries, which include: Police Affairs, Special Duties/International Affairs, Power, Aviation, Works and Housing and Humanitarian/Disaster Management.
