AFCON: Nigeria becomes first country to qualify for knockout stage, beats Guinea

The Super Eagles of Nigeria has qualified for the knockout stage of the 2019 African Cup of Nations after a narrow win against a tough Guinean side.

The Eagles became the first to qualify, courtesy of Kenneth Omeruo’s brilliant header in the 73rd minute, as the team claimed all three points to book a place in the next round of the competition with a game to spare.
