The leader of the proscribed Islamic Movement in Nigeria, IMN, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, and his wife, Zeenat, are set to depart Nigeria for India today in company of the DSS.
According to sources within the IMN who confided to Daily Trust, El-Zakzaky and his wife were already in Abuja waiting to be flown to India in a chartered aircraft along with some DSS officials.
Recall that the Kaduna State High Court, last Monday, granted El-Zakzaky’s request to proceed on medical leave to Medenta Hospital, New Delhi, India for treatment.
INSIDER reported that the Kaduna State Government appealed the ruling, stating seven conditions to be met by El-Zakzaky before embarking on the trip.
It is yet unknown if the conditions were met by the IMN leader.
