KWARMA unveils Abdulrazaq’s 20days-in-office achievement (PHOTOS)

The Kwara Road Maintenance Agency (KWARMA) in synergy with the Kwara State Ministry of Works have lauded Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq’s first 20 days in office for ensuring swift rehabilitation of abandoned projects in the state, with some completed, while others nearing completion.

According to the Permanent Secretary, Kwara State Ministry of Works, Dr Yusuf Garba, the governor who charged the ministry and the road maintenance agency to carry out swift action in fixing access roads within the state capital, Ilorin, has within 20days in office, rehabilitated ten roads and two roundabouts.

He commended Governor Abdulrazaq’s commitment and foresightedness in delivering good road network across the state, which he stated will enhance economic development in the state.

Dr Yusuf highlighted the completed roads and those still undergoing rehabilitation.

“Ita Kudimoh – Kokorokan – Isale Aluko linked road which was abandoned since 2015 now completed, also the rehabilitation of the Kaduna Road, Adewole is 50% completed, the Osere – Cemetery – Yidi Road is nearing it completion also”, he said.

He added that, “Access roads within the state capital which include Offa Garage – Dangote Roundabout, Geri Alimi – Adewole, Sanni Okin Road, Yebumot – Alhikmah – Apalara – Adeta road, Offa Garage roundabout, Adeta roundabout and many others have been rehabilitated.”
