NEWS FLASH: Lawan emerges Senate President of 9th Senate

Senator Ahmed Lawan, representing Yobe North senatorial district has emerged the new Senate President, with 79 votes, defeating his rival, Senator Ali Ndume of Borno-South, who got 28 votes.
