The management of the nation’s top youth service agency, the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) would henceforth assist corps members passing out of the scheme with job placement through a newly introduced initiative tagged ‘NYSC CV bank and job portals’.

The new job support idea of the scheme, which is expected to take effect starting from 14th June, 2019, would provide corps members leaving the scheme with a platform to register and upload copies of their CVs, including a video version.

The announcement of the new initiative, which is being spearheaded by the NYSC’s Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Department (SAED), is one of the recent innovations of the scheme under its new Director General, Brig. General Shuib Ibrahim.

It would be recalled that recently, INSIDER also reported that the NYSC management announced its decision to include corps members’ date of birth on their certificates of national service. Read here https://insiderng.net/2019/05/30/just-in-nysc-to-include-date-of-birth-on-certificates/
