The advertorial, which indicated that the retreat will have the theme: ‘Getting Ready for the Task’, also contained portraits of all the serving governors and governors-elect on the platform of the PDP.

It was said that the retreat will take place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and precisely at The Retreat Palm, Dubai MGallery, by Sofitel East Crescent, the Palm Jumeirah-Dubai.

However, the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Kola Ologbondiyan, has denied any knowledge of the planned retreat.

In response to enquiry by Journalists concerning the proposed PDP governors’ meeting in Dubai, Ologbodiyan tersely responded: “I’m not aware.”

In the same vein, Chief Press Secretaries (CPS) to two PDP governors, who prefer not to be named, also denied knowledge of the retreat.
