‘We need your support and patience’, APC tells Kwarans

The Kwara State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has felicitated with Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazak and his deputy, Mr Kayode Alabi on their successful inauguration and assumption of office.

In a press release issued by the Kwara APC New Media on its Twitter handle, the party appealed to the people of the state to be patient with the new administration to enable it perfect its rebuilding plans, as a lot of damages had befallen the state in the past dispensation, which it inherited.

The statement reads in part, “It is our desire to express our profound gratitude to Almighty God for the successful inauguration of the new government and to congratulate His Excellency, Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazak and his deputy, Mr Kayode Alabi on assumption of office.

“The end of Saraki dynasty may be over, but there is a need for Kwarans to show the new government the support it deserves and exercise some patience with this administration for proper planning because a lot of damages had been done”, it said.

The party urged the governor to utilize his vast private sector experience in formulating policies that will attract investors to fulfill his campaign promises to the people, which cuts across health, education, economy, agriculture, employment, sports development and infrastructure.

The APC also advocated for strengthened relationship between the governor and the party executives led by Alhaji Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa (BOB) and other stakeholders in the state.

  1. The tweet has not pointedly passed any message to Kwara state. Be itemisely categorical in your communications in the future. No mention is made about Masalary,
    unpaid gratuities, amputated salaries, etc. Please no beating about the bush political gimmicks this time around. That is not what we bargain for while you were negotiating for our votes. Don’t mislead the well-intentioned Governor AA.
